If you’re a twin mom (or any type of mom), you get how difficult it can be to get your kids out of the house. When you’re going somewhere with multiple babies/toddlers there is that long list of items that you need to have: the stroller, the diaper bag busting at the seams with all of the baby paraphernalia, the jackets or blankets and heaven forbid you forget the pacifiers!! So with all this in mind, just the thought of leaving my house to go somewhere can be a daunting task.
This is me out at lunch with my husband, my twins, their double car seat stroller and all of their many accessories!
I know there are great benefits to joining mom’s groups, attending play dates and taking my kids to the library for story time but sometimes the hassle of it all keeps me from going. So, I miss out on the interaction with other moms that can be so educational. It’s great to hear how other moms are dealing with certain frustrations and how they have overcome them. That’s when it hit me – I need to create a place where moms can come together (from home) and share their experiences.
The fundamental basics of caring for twins are the same as caring for a single baby except you’re outnumbered and that can create a number of issues. Not only that but you have two completely different personalities to create their own unique reactions to your every action. I by no means am an expert at this twin mom thing. Heck, I’ve only been a mom for just over a year now but that being said I have learned a thing or two in the trenches. Before the kids came along, one of my gifts at work was troubleshooting.
Here are some of the cool things you can expect from InItToTwinIt:

- Delicious recipes that are easy to make, healthy (most of the time) and don’t require a lot of fancy or expensive ingredients. What is Umami? I’m pretty sure it’s not something my son says when he sees a bug.
- Suggestions on products that can simplify your life and make this 24/7 job easier.
- Ideas on ways to get out of the house and do fun things with your kids without having a panic attack.
